Building 22bet sports betting appIH-820 East Loop

Designed to alleviate traffic congestion in a heavily traveled part of the Dallas-Fort Worth roadway system, this multi-phase project will reconstruct Interstate 820 along a three-mile stretch within the city limits of Fort Worth, Hurst, and Richland Hills.

As part of the project, 22bet sports betting appFlatiron is building 15 new bridges, two of them direct connect structures between Interstates 820 and 121. Those bridges will eliminate the previous interchanges, which were more complex and time-consuming to maneuver. In total, the new bridges contain one million square feet of bridge deck and 140,000 linear feet of concrete girders.

As primary contractor on the project, Flatiron is self-performing all earthwork, concrete paving, bridge substructure and superstructure work.

To minimize the risk of project delays, Flatiron brought in an additional concrete batch plant to allow workers to batch concrete on site, alleviating the need for materials to be trucked through 22bet sports betting appan already congested corridor. Flatiron will ultimately batch 126,000 cubic yards at the site.

Project has its own concrete batch plant, significantly reducing the need for materials to be transported in through traffic.

Design includes three structural steel plate girder units consisting of 4.2 million pounds of steel.

Part of the “Texas Clear Lanes Initiative,” a plan put forth by the Governor to ease traffic along well-known chokepoints.
